Chelan Landry
Freshman (2010-11): Played in the first regular season game of her career against Denver (11/12/10)…finished with four points in nine minutes of that game…played in 22 games total while averaging 5.7 minutes per contest…added 1.8 points and almost one rebound…shot 11-27 (.407) from the field and 17-29 (.586) from the free throw line…recorded three points and two steals in the WNIT game against Portland State (3/16/11)…tied her career high with six points while adding two assists against Air Force (1/22/11)…had a career high six points, three rebounds and two assists against Dickinson State (11/15/10)…was solid in her first time on the court for the Cowgirls…finished with four rebounds, three assists and three steals in 11 minutes of play.
High School: An Honorable Mention All-State selection while attending Milwaukee Vincent High School…during her senior season, she was also named First Team All-City Conference Gold Division, the Co-Player of the Year in the City Conference and Fourth Team All-Area…averaged 13 points and seven assists, while helping her team to a 24-3 overall record and a 14-0 mark to win the City Conference Championship in 2010 as well…they would fall in the state semi-finals against Pius XI…received the Boston Store Student Athlete of the Week during the year…as a junior, the team went 25-1 and 12-1 in the conference on their way to their third straight WIAA Division I State Title…finished 22-3 overall and 12-3 in league play during the 2007-08 season, while going 25-1 overall in her first year with the team…went a combined 96-8 over the past four seasons…was coached in high school by Marquis Hines…is the fifth Milwaukee Vincent player in four years to receive a Division I scholarship and the second in 2009-10.
